Dr. Kimerling is a clinical psychologist who is affiliated with the National Center on PTSD and leads the Office of Mental Health Services (OMHS) Military Sexual Trauma Support Team at the VA Palo Alto HCS. Her research focuses on evaluating treatments for substance use and psychiatric disorders, particularly projects to improve care for women with sexual trauma.
