Residential Substance Abuse and Psychiatric Programs Inventory (RESPPI)

Instrument Description
:

The Residential Substance Abuse and Psychiatric Programs Inventory (RESPPI) is a set of instruments that is designed to assess inpatient and residential substance abuse and psychiatric treatment programs. It is appropriate to use in a wide range of settings; including hospital-based and community-based programs, and programs that primarily treat drug and/or alcohol abuse or psychiatric disorders.

The ability to describe such programs with the RESPPI makes it possible to monitor program quality, to assess the impact of specific features or services, and to examine the match between resident and program characteristics.
